There Is More To Wrestling Than The WWE

When you read a lot of my shit, I am overly critical of the product that WWE puts out on a weekly basis. I love wrestling, hell I love WWE wrestling, they give us so much programming on a weekly basis, and for a wrestling fan, that is tremendous. The problem I have with WWE is that they have so much talent, so much that they don't know what to do with it or how to properly utilize it. That is why I am so engrossed with so many other independent promotions. They do more with less talent and put on more entertaining shows that don't seem to drag on. Other promotions, such as New Japan, CZW, Ring of Honor, Progress, and on and on, I could list all day, they have a ton of talent, but they also do everything that they can to get that talent on television and put them in something relevant. Thank You, American Legion Post #308!

For those of us that follow the independent wrestling scene, certain promotions are know for certain things, CZW is violent and rough, New Japan is artistic, and PWG has  American Legion Post #308. Sure they have had events elsewhere, but Post 308 is home for PWG, the sweat lodge has given so many classic memories and helped make a name for so many prominent wrestlers. Wrestlers such as The Young Bucks, Cesaro, Aj Styles, Kevin Owens, Sami Zayn and sooooooo many more have graced the wrestling room of the Post. The Post have given us iconic and classic matches, goofy segments, emotional farewells, and more holy shit moments that I can count in an afternoon. It's a place where I fell in love with modern wrestling and wrestlers being able to tell a story without a story being in place. The post gave us Kevin Steen, yes he wrestled elsewhere, but in PWG, he found himself, he gave one of the best promos I have ever heard. We got Mount Rushmore and Mount Rushmore 2.0 in the Resed...

Is WWE Really Leaning Towards Roman vs. Brock At SummerSlam?

It's been over a month since we've posted a new blog. I'll be honest, the drive is not there at the moment. Working full-time and with summer around the corner, sitting down and writing a blog is not priority number 1. With that being said I do want to try and push something out at least once a month until the end of summer. One of the biggest things here is that WWE is terrible during the summer. I have barely devoted any time over the past 6 weeks to their product. It's bad right now, and it's only going to get worse. I would imagine by SummerSlam they may try to regain viewers interests, but with the possible main event being Brock Lesnar (c) vs. Roman Reigns, I don't see how that is possible. There was a rumor a while back that someone within WWE stated something, "some people will like what we'll do at SummerSlam, some may not, majority will hate it."
